would u be able to tell me if the eu's limits on microwave radiation is more than the uks thermal limits, and maybe where to find a table telling you of the limits imposed around the world.
thank you,

A comparison is given at:
http://www.powerwatch.org.uk/science/intguidance.asp
The UK and EU have the same overall guidance levels (ICNIRP). These are based on thermal and acute neurological symptoms. A few places have more precautionary levels for exposure to signals from mobile phone masts, but even these are hardly ever exceeded in the UK (a few volts per metre).
The Salzberg general level GSM of 0.6 V/m is often exceeded close to masts in the UK and the Salzberg 2002 levels (0.06 and 0.02 V/m) are exceeded in many places. A DECT cordless phone unit in your house would normally cause these level to be exceeded all over your house. The Salzberg levels are not rigidly enforced.
It is MOST unlikely that any official guidance levels will be brought down below a few volts per metre in the next few years, and certainly won't come below 0.6 V/m.
We believe than bedroom levels not exceeding about 0.05 V/m would be OK for most people but, as we understand it, this is unlikely to be brought in as an official guidance level anywhere in the near to medium future.
