Note that the Exradia technology uses "noise masking" technology formally known as EMX technology. It actually puts EXTRA low-frequency magnetic fields (10 to 120 Hz approximately) that are supposed to mask the effects of the EMFs from the phone rather like background music playing in restaurants so that you can't hear the conversations on nearby tables. For nulling health effects from power-frequency fields there is some good science to back uo the EMX technology. For dealing with pulsing microwave fields from handsets there is much less in the scientific literature. I think the evidence is that it MIGHT help and is unlikely to make matters worse, but we would recommend that the mobile phone should be used a little as possible - i.e. do not treat it as a "solve-all" that means the phone is "safe". I truly do not believe that is the case. Reember - it does not reduce the fields - it actually increases (approx doubles) them.

I am microwave sensitive and bought 2 Exradia battery's. One for me and the girlfriend. I have to have a phone due to work, but never hold it to my head.

The battery life is not as good on these battery's for a start. Plus I still feel ill using the phone even at an arms length away. They may protect you from EMF generated from the phones battery but that is not the problem as far as I am concerned.

They simply do not protect you from the signals transmitted from your phone which is what makes me feel sick. I am so sensitive to mobiles and was hoping Exradia was going to somehow make the mobile phone alright for me to use again, wrong - no way have they made it any less painfull to use.

My advice is to never ever hold a mobile to your head. Use a landline as much as possible. If you do use your mobile then use the speaker phone.
Keep the mobile switched off!!

Weety - many thanks for your helpful posting. It helps confirm what I suspected, namely that the EMX technology may protect from genetic damage effects (it was mainly tested on chick embryos) but does not protect from electrical sensitivity effects. I have to avoid mobile phone handset use and, anyway, don't have a Nokia phone, so I have not tested the exradia packs.

It is also interesting to hear that the battery life is not as good as standard ones. It doesn't surprise me, becaue Nokia supply high-quality products and this exradia firm has to put extra circuitry inside the battery pack as well as the battery cells.
