Wireless enabled laptop

I use a wireless enabled lap top for most of the day. I always plug into the landline and always assumed as long as the facility is switched off on the side of the lap top I wouldn't be exposed to anything - could I confirm that is correct?

If you've disabled the wireless capability in the software as well, you're likely to be fine.

If in doubt, best use an ACOM or MW1 instrument to check if you have a radiofrequency field being picked up.
