High electrical fields on standard PC keyboard

Hi Alasdair
A client has a reading of around 110v/m on the keyboard of her desktop pc.
Is the best solution to apply one of the earthing leads to the computer 'tower' as it seems that it would be tricky to earth the keyboard directly. It only has several screws which I suspect are inserted into plastic threads.
Thanks very much

It is unlikely to be coming from the keyboard, but almost certainly from the floor where her chair and feet are. She will need an earthed conductive mat under them. Earthed cooking foil under a mat or carpet will do. This is because desktop PCs do have to be earthed by law and so the fields from the cables on or under the floor will be traveling up through her and back to earth through the keyboard.
