mobile phone masts near schools v WiFi in schools?

We have a choice of 2 'good' secondary schools in the Oldham area for our daughter. One is around 600m plus from the town centre and in a slightly elevated position. The school is situated on Egerton Street, to the south of a large grassed area (postcode, OL1 3SQ), in a slightly elevated position (though not above the town centre). 'Sitefinder' reveals several phone base stations in the area and I would be extremely grateful for an expert opinion on the location of the school, in regard to these. To the north of the school, on the green area, is a very tall (35m) mast. This is in an elevated, hillside position and can be seen from quite some distance (a couple of miles away, in some places). The school in this location presently just has WiFi equipment in its separate sixth form building, although obviously, I realise that there will be the chance that they will expand this, if they already have it in one part of the school.
The second school has WiFi for all its computers, but, situated at OL1 1XJ, on Rochdale Road (across the road from the junction with Surrey Avenue), is in a residential area with less base stations, which are situated further away from the school.
This is a real dilemma. Is there any way of predicting which school might be the 'safest'? I know that this isn't a straightforward query. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much.

Personally there is not enough information to judge either on the basis of typical exposure to RF radiation signals. The pupils will no doubt be using their mobile phones a lot of the time anyway (outside of lessons), and it depends on a number of factors (such as base stations traffic or wireless network usage) to have any idea of which one has the lower typical daily exposure.

I think your best bet will be to choose between the schools on other merits, which obviously would be up to your discretion.

If you have any further questions or info on this, please do ask.

Best Regards,
- Graham
