mobile phone masts

There has recently been a 15m O2 3G mast erected at an approximate distance of 400 from my house. In addition there are 3 existing 15m masts 500m distance in the same direction ( North West ).There is also a different type of mast approx.10m in height 400m away,in a North Easterly direction.
I have hired a Acousticom meter from yourelves and a walk around the area has established the fact that they are all transmitting.Testing around the house, all I am getting is low level hiss everywhere.
What I want to know now is- do I need to do anything in the way of precautions in the house,or can I assume that we as a family are safe?

The low level hiss is just inherent RF background noise plus noise in the detector electronics and that means that the levels of pulsing microwaves in your house are below about 0.03 volts per metre and we know of no problemas at this level or below. You are lucky not to have close neighbours with DECT cordless phones! Sounds good to me.

Best wishes
