(I was right the first time.) The Powerwatch site provides a link attached to the title below (in the 'List of Studies' page) but the article in the link is not actually the same as the article listed. Can you tell me where I can get hold of the article below?
Kuhn S, Kuster N, (July 2006) Development of Procedures for the EMF Exposure Evaluation of Wireless Devices in Home and Office Environments Supplement 1: Close-to-Body and Base Station Wireless Data Communication Devices, Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society, ETH Zurich, Switzerland
I am also looking for any research on health effects or measurements relating to WLAN systems in the 5 to 6 GHz range (ie what are sometimes called Hyperlan or Hyperlan II). Can anyone help?
Thank you! |

Sorry about that. We will correct the existing link to the PPT summary and add another link to download the actual paper next week. In the meantime I have posted a copy of it to the website and if you paste the whole of the link below into your browser then, after a short wait (the file is almost 5MB) you will have it.

I echo your request for practical results information on the 5 - 6 GHz wLAN bands - we have found virtually nothing. I don't think that there are any health effects records fir this frequency range. There are some good measurement results in the above Kuster ITIS paper that you were looking for.
There also seem to be hardly any access points available for these bands available for sale in the UK at present as we have been trying to purchase one to run our own measurement tests on. Please email me at: <alasdair@powerwatch.org.uk> if you find anything useful
Good wishes, Alasdair
