im so concearned about wi max and digital tv which are both being rolled out this year, i have just managed to find somewhere to live, convinced all my neighbours to turn off there wi fi at night and am soon i fear going to become as fried as i was before when i lived in my old flat. i cant go back to feeling how i felt (almost suicidal) and am very very very worried. is it there any advice u could give me or do u have any idea how bad it might all be?

WiMAX and digital TV and radio are already rolled out and many of these systems are fully operational. The only thing you can do is use the material and paint to screen the flat. Unfortunately, this leaves the problem about how you feel when you leave your haven, but at least you have somewhere to go to rebuild your immune system and repair the day's damages.

thank you for the reply, i was wondering about purchasing a headnet off the website but will that just reduce the affects on my brain and not the sickness feeling and other symptoms from the rest of my body? if wimax is already fully operational wouldnt i be able to pick it up as a security locked network on a laptop? also do u think that just using the sheilding material 4 the windows would be enough to block it out as the walls are pretty thick yorkshire stone and as im living back with my parents who think im crazy they wont allow me to even mention being es anymore let alone paint any walls. also (sorry i know this is a lot of questions) but can u detect digital using any instrument or the smog dectector, and would u know what kind of strength would it be?
operating at?, thank u,

peter.

WiMAX is not compatible with other networks.
At present only 3.4 to 3.6 GHz is used, and only in a very few places.
See: http://freedom4.co.uk/pg.asp?p=coverage
Some 5.8 GHz "pre-WiMAX" is offered by some suppliers but is unreliable and rare in the UK. In summer 2008 UK Ofcom is selling off 2.6GHz spectrum this year for new services, including WiMAX. WiMAX is NOT compatible with existing WiFi networks and will not be detected or linked.

Digital TV is basically everywhere now. It may not be any more problem than analogue TV and the signals do not seem to pulse much and are weaker than the analogue TV signals. I don't know the answer to this.

I believe that the ESmog Detector (or an Acousticom) is be fine for general protection detection.

If you are very ES, don't dismiss the electric fields from the house wiring which you may, or may not, be very sensitive to. If you don't measure those then they can be affecting you without you realising what is affecting you and that makes it much harder to work out how to protect yourself.

thank you alasdair, if i turn off the fuse to the sockets in the basement where i currently live because its on a seperate circuit would that kill all the magnentic frequencies?, also the main fuse box and electricity supply is 3 meters away from where i sleep, is that far enough for me to be safe?

Yes, it should be. 3 metres should be plenty. As long as the house isn't right on the pavement of a road with undergound cables running under it. If it is closer than about 4 metres from a public pavement, then you should actually measure the magnetic fields. Most will be fine, but stray and net currents in the electricity distributions cables do cause problems, especially in older built up areas.
